The album is the second solo album by Nicholas DiSalvo, frontman of ELDER, a 70s hard psychedelic~doom/stoner rock band. The result is a sparkling and expansive instrumental modern psychedelic album that can be described as a tricky symphonic rock album.Sentinel" starts with a clear TANGERINE DREAM-like sequence and gradually builds up to an upper psychedelic jazz-rock with a fuzz organ solo reminiscent of Dave Stewart, and "Omnipresence" slowly interweaves fantasy and heaviness, with an ethereal mellotron tone in the background. Each song has its own sharp individuality, and Nicholas DiSalvo's exceptional auteurship, which he has accumulated over many years of experience, is on full display on this excellent album.
