Mid-Century Italian Modern Bar Cart in Bamboo, Cane & Rattan, 1960s for sale at Pamono

I offer you for sale a Mid 20th Century Modern Bar Cart made in Italy between the 60s and the 70s. Featuring a sinuous shape, but which remains essential and elegant, without frills such as volutes and curls typical of the Riviera style very popular in that period. This vintage bar cart is the result of the great skills of Italian craftsmen; all the thin cane that makes up the two baskets have been bent by hand after being softened in water or with steam for the thicker bamboo canes. I love the attention to detail used to create the bottle holder, the rattan canes have been measured to fit the bottles once bent, tailored and then fixed for greater stability and resistance both to the edge of the basket and to the perpendicular bamboo canes that divide it into sections. The bar cart tops were made with plywood honeycomb core panels and like all the parts that make up this item they have been subjected to a deep cleaning and polishing with a specific product that has renewed and protected the surface. The wheels are original, they slide but have minimal signs of oxidation visible in the photos, also treated by our trusted professional with a specific product that blocks future oxidation.
